It just depends on your skin.

I have oily skin, so it worked for me.

If you have dry skin, it will not work.

If you have sensitive skin, it will burn your skin and give you an allergic reaction.

If you have dry skin, it would make you break out more.

I think you should NOT use it. Proactive dries out the skin using many harsh chemicals. The drying part will go well with you, but the chemicals will hurt your sensitive skin.

Instead, use Neutreogena products. I recommend the Neutreogena Acne Free Face Wash from Target for $3.
You can also get an astringent. I recommend the one from Clean & Clear. An astringent is a liquid that you apply 2-3 times to your face with a cotton ball. It dries out your skin, and it's really sensitive.

I have sensitive, partially dry skin. My brother has oily skin. It worked for me, to stop my breakouts, and it didn't hurt my skin at all.. and yes, I have REALLY sensitive skin. It depends on what package you get and how often you use it. I used it once a day. It stopped my breakouts, but my main concern wasn't that, it was blemishes and black spots, so I stopped using it. It didn't help my brother AT ALL. It helped reduce the appearance of his breakouts and such (he gets really big, disgusting looking pimples) but that was it. He still broke out and such.

I think you should definitely try it, though. It does give people some results, even if it's not exactly what they want.

Normal acne PROTOCOL 1/ on no account, ever touch your face. 2/ Use 3 facecloths to scrub your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, as soon as a day. 3/ in case you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of nutrition A once a day with a full meal 4/ in case you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of diet A twice a day with a full meal. Do not get pregnant whilst taking diet A. Don't take any more, like Accutane, it'll discontinue you developing. 5/ in no way, ever. Opt for, squeeze or pop your spot. Read quantity 1 once more. 6/ do that for ninety days. 7/ invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow instances to double bag' your pillow. Hot wash each couple of days. Supply: somewhat of advice given to me as a youngster, a bit of science as i am studying allergies and nutrition A is a part of that. A bit of study: I sat in a lecture on the back and watched the pimples inclined prefer at their faces, these with the more severe acne touched their faces 32 instances in an hour, the clearest complexions did not contact their faces even as soon as. I have circumstantial evidence that zits is the influence of dermatophyte switch from hands to face...Where it does now not get washed off and is well fed via hormones, sweat a nd oil...Only a speculation... However it would provide an explanation for why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to do away with dermatophytes. The bottom line is under no circumstances to touch the spots pointers on the way to deal with zits and achieve perfect clear epidermis in as little as 7 days?
