You should change for your religion if you know it is the truth.
If you arent convinced seek the face of GOD with all your heart.
When people change their religion to suit themselves, they are re-creating GOD in THEIR Image.
When they adhere to the truth of GOD then THEY must change to conform to the image of GOD.
The Bible says : be not conformed to this world be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds into the image of HIS dear son(JESUS CHRIST).

Good question. I don't plan to change, just to suit my religion. I think it would be better if religions could fade away so that we could all concentrate on simple faith in God.
The problem is, we do need teachers of faith, and religions produce the only ones we've got--and they produce the best ones.
To answer your question, I guess I would rather see religion change.

I believe that if you're going to follow something, that implies that you will change to a degree. If you aren't going to change (presuming that you don't care for something in your life right now), then why say that you're going to "follow" something? I DO think that those changes should not be massive (and I don't believe that's really very possible anyway); I definitely believe that a religion must be flexible enough to allow a variety of opinions and points of view.
So - I guess that means that I believe "Yes - a little of each" :-)

Any true religion, of which there is only one, should not change...The Word of God changes us....Jesus changes us and conforms us into His Image....the origional intent of God, our Creator, in the beginning
before sin entered into the world...we were created in the image of God. God is unchanging...the same yesterday, today, and forever. If a particular religion changes with the tides, how can that religion stand if it is not founded on a firm foundation?

No to both. We should change only for God. If our religion truly is in line w/ scripture. Then, you'll have to change for the sake of your religion, in that case.

Neither.
The Christian God calls us to change (for the better) when we come into relationship with Him. We choose to change our behavior not for any religion, but rather for the Joy of daily relationship with Him.
Cordially,
John
