It's kind of hard to explain why I want to marry my man. We are not planning children so it is not for that reason.....we already own a home together and live together so nothing will change.....but I have this deep desire to be married. I want to show the world how much we love each other. I want to stand in front of him and make the deepest committment to him.
I love him with all of my heart and the fact that he wants to marry me too................means so very, very much.

I didn't at first. I fought it tooth and nail. I had my single life all planned out. But then, I met him...and well...I fell in love with him. I go to know him, and the feeling grew. We're on friendly terms too, it ain't all about sex. And I thought that if u loved someone, u married them. So since we figured we could learn to love each other forever, then we got married.

I, too, was very comfortable in living my surpeme bachlorette existance. Than outta the blue, he just HAD to show up! Messed all my plans up! (J.k, hes reading over my shoulder). No... seriously. I didnt believe in love, i didnt believe in that tv/movie love at first sight mushy crap. And there i was sitting in TGI Fridays, staring at these dark eyes, realizing i could look in those eyes everyday of my life. And the idea of not being able to do that was kinda sad... and that was just the first date (that i've been informed wasnt a date, it was two friends having lunch... for 11 hours)
Anyways... i want to get married, because i have found someone whom i can talk to forever (quite literally, we still find new things to talk about and conversations are still fresh and exciting). I found someone whom i can trust. I found someone who i can joke around with. I found someone who appreciates me and cheers me on in whatever i chose to do. I found someone who is willing to work through the rough spots to relish the smooth ones. I found someone who makes me think in terms of "us" rather than just me. I found my best friend. I found the thing i never knew i wanted, and never knew i needed until i had it. And luckily enough... its all the same person this time!! Why wouldnt i want to hold on to that forever?

I am a slave to my estrogen.
Every time I look at my fiance all of these girly feelings well up inside me and I feel the extreme urge to be nothing with my life except be a good wife and a mother (which is a lot to do).

Because problems are smaller when he's there to share them. Because joys are bigger when he's there to share them. Because I can be my complete, whole self (the good, the bad and the ugly) around him. Because he can be his whole, complete self around me. Because being with him is way better than being without him.

Because you couldnt see your life without them. They are the first thing you think of before you go to sleep and the first when you wake. When you know everything about them and their "Stupid annoying things" they do, you find yourself loving even that. When he/she is the air you breath! :)
