i am one of Jehovahs witnesses and i can say that very few of these comments regarding our religon are true.
we dont ask people to like us anyway, but it is said in the bible that Jehovah searches out the heart of the deserving ones.
i find people dont like us, from what i have been told, because they dont like our teachings.
the way we are taught and what we are taught doesn't co-incide with what others want. we shape our lives to fit to the BIBLES standards and not to fit our own standards.
the reason we dont like having debates just to prove a point is because the out come of it will not, in most cases, change the persons view point of us. it just makes them more and more upset. we find it a waste of time and energy and we do only what the biblle instructs of us, to teach and not to argue.
ALSO, we do take blood tests, in fact my mother had to take one last week because she has low blood preasure. BUT we dont take blood TRANSFUSIONS. and we have very good reason to. because the bible tells us not to.
“Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for you. As in the case of green vegetation, I do give it all to you. Only flesh with its soul—its blood—you must not eat.”—Genesis 9:3, 4.
i know it doesn't say dont agree to blood transfusions, but to illustrate. say you were told by your doctor not to consume alcohol. if you decided to inject it into your body, it would still have the same detrimental effect.
And, besides that, YOUR blood of YOUR souls shall I ask back. From the hand of every living creature shall I ask it back; and from the hand of man, from the hand of each one who is his brother, shall I ask back the soul of man. 6 Anyone shedding man’s blood, by man will his own blood be shed, for in God’s image he made man-Genesis 9:5,6
how can we be saved by God if we have someone elses blood in us?
people dont like us because we dont suit their wants.
and for the record, we dont sell our religion. its free. even the literature, our whole organization, and i mean our WHOLE organization is made up of donations.

Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones who are not afraid to answer questions. You go to an average church pick any and ask the attendants basic questions about life and God and you will get personal opinion of a variety of sorts even in the same church building. They will even shrug their shoulders if the questions are about why such horrid things happen in this world.
Ask a Jehovah's Witness. Almost any! And you will get answers and they will be willing to get the Bible out and teach.
They don't just call themselves Christians they do Christian too 24/7 365.25 days a year.
The world is ruled by Satan and he influences the world and feeds it ungodly doctrines. 1 John 5:19 & 2 Corinthians 4:4
The way of the world is designed to hate true teachings about the Bible. The world loves what is it's own.

An experience a Jehovah’s Witness in his mid-70’s.
As he went from door to door he hobbled quite a bit; but no wonder, for he was getting around on two wooden legs. Upon his knocking on one door, a woman came out. Pointing a finger at him, she asked in an angry tone of voice: ‘Are you one of Jehovah’s Witnesses?’
He paused for a moment and then, looking the woman straight in the eye, said: ‘I tell you, ma’am, I try to be. It isn’t easy. I’m working at it. It’s a difficult assignment. Can you imagine what it means to be a witness of the Most High, Jehovah, the Sovereign of the universe? That’s a real assignment. I’ll tell you, ma’am, I’m working at it.’
What did the woman say in reply? Not a word. What could she say?
There is no gainsaying it. Going from house to house with the good news of Jehovah God’s kingdom presents a real challenge. Doubtless that is why this form of evangelism is unique with the Witnesses. No other religious group stresses or expects this kind of activity on the part of all its members. And it is indeed of interest that those who so severely criticize the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses do not accuse them of carrying on a work for which there is no Scriptural precedent.

I don't know many, but the ones I do know I don't dislike, but there are many things some Jehovah's Witnesses believe I am against. Like what? About eight things.
1) They have an attitude that they are perfectly right and everyone else (Christians included) is wrong. They ostracize themselves from the rest of the body of Christ, rather than staying "one," thinking of them as heretics. They believe they are the only ones who will obtain New Jerusalem just because they believe their head knowledge and doctrine is better than everyone else’s.
2) They do not see the possibility that their organization may be wrong. Rather than studying objectively, they study through the lenses of their own organization.
3) They deny the bodily resurrection of Jesus, a fundamental to the gospel.
4) They are borderline polytheists.
5) They neglect their bodies by refusing to have blood tests.
6) They are all obsessed over a mistransliteration (Jehovah) of the tetragrammaton (YHWH).
7) They label themselves as Jehovah's Witnesses. It is far better to remain completely non-denominational.
8) They unknowingly trick themselves into thinking salvation is dependent on works.
Of course, not every Jehovah’s Witness is like this, but many are.

Why are Jehovah’s Witnesses persecuted and spoken against?
Jesus said: “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.” (John 15:18, 19; see also 1 Peter 4:3, 4.) The Bible shows that the whole world lies under Satan’s control; he is the principal instigator of the persecution.—1 John 5:19; Rev. 12:17.
Jesus also told his disciples: “You will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name.” (Mark 13:13) The word “name” here means what Jesus officially is, the Messianic King. Persecution comes because Jehovah’s Witnesses put his commands ahead of those of any earthly ruler.

Never really got talking with any.
Tending to run away when I respond with some of my counter arguments, gives me the impression that they don't really like discussion. Seems a bit two faced, wanting to discuss God, and then running away if it's not going the way they want.
I'd provide a link for the "The Other People" argument (ie Who created the people who Cain married into?) which seems to be what causes them to run, but it seems have disappeared!
If they stayed, and gave me an answer than maybe I'd find them OK.

They don't understand that sometimes texts can be translated differently and words can have more than one meaning or interpretation and refuse to believe in any other possibilities than the ones they have been told to believe in

They aren't understood (their beliefs aren't widely known) and therefore are scary. There's a temple near where I live, the building has no windows and there's a big iron fence around it. Is this to keep people in or out? That's what I mean.

If you mean Jenovah Witnesses then its because they go door to door trying to sell their religion. If you mean Jews then you should be stoned to death and burned at the stake.
