Why is it that manufacturers presume that if you want a hybrid, you want a boring car? I am patiently waiting for someone to produce a fun-to-drive hybrid.

Technically they did, It was called the Insight. It had horrible sales, last year they sold less than 1000 across the whole US! I test drove one and was horribly disappointed. I bought a Prius and am very happy. A co-worker of mine bought the insight and we both get just under 50mpg. I have a neighbor who owns the Civic Hybrid and she is getting 45, but my car is larger. The next option is tiny is good for you is the Smart car, but they are pricey! Good Luck!
