Last February, my husband and I went on a vacation in the same city we live in. We rented a room in the oldest hotel in the city, and we did 'tourist stuff' for five days, then we got on the bus and came home again. We had a lot of fun, but we didn't get to do all of the 'tourist stuff' we wanted to, so we're 'going back' again this February. We take our vacation in February because our anniversary is on Valentine's Day ...

My boyfriend & I went on a 5-day white water rafting adventure through Hell's Canyon in Idaho. That was the best! Except for the giant sturgeon that came close when I was swimming - thought I was going to have a heart attack!

A trip to Alaska. Nothing fancy. We had friends living near Anchorage at the time and stayed with them. The long, long, long airplane trip was uncomfortable but seeing the glaciers, Orca whales, a moose, and the unspoiled wilderness was wonderful. I would go again if I could afford the trip.

Snorkeling in Kauai. Stayed at the Marriott in Lihue, with torch light dinners on the beach at night.

Disney World and St Louis. We had so much fun in St Louis that we are going back. They have some really cool museums in STL.
