Well this guy friend said that he really like and care about me but he wanted to buy me a gift for my b day but I told him that you dont have to. Well then he told me that the same gift he was going to give me he was going to buy it for his other female friend for her b day. Well you might say I am insecure but at first I did not care but then now I just wondering.

thats really lame. i mean, depending on what it is there might be some logic behind it. like if its gift card or something. but over all you would think to buy your girlfriend something nicer, or at least something different. i know it feels like its stupid to be comparing gifts, but at the same time i would feel a little offended. i had only been seeing a guy for a few weeks before my birthday and i wasn't too upset when he didn't get me anything, because we went out instead. but a few weeks after we were in the store and he pointed out something really nice and said how it would be a great gift for one of his girl friends. i was pissed at that point. like he'd think to get her something and not me. i think guys just don't think the sameway we do sometimes, so i guess just go by your gut feeling.
