What can YOU do now to help someone in need?

There are lots of people, living right in your community, who need help.

It isn't always about money either, many need just someone who cares in their life. We live in a world where many complain about being lonely, this is sad.

How can you help?

We Can always Help By Praying for our friends and Neighbors.....and of course, Visiting them. I am speaking of 3 Of my neighbors. Two are in a wheel-chair, The other little old Lady just had surgery on her Foot, and is on crutches. So, Even at 74 yrs old, I am still healthy and walk good, Drive my car, >> so I go Tend to these Ladies To Visit or run errands. I get such a Blessing from this. And besides that, I Love them!! (smiles)

Mentoring at a poor school. An inner city elementary school has many children that need help with basic skills such as reading. Many have noone at home that can help them. Some of these students do not even own childrens books at home. Reaching out to help someone with your time is sometimes the best thing that can be done.

Actually talk to the groups in your community who help others and see what they need to continue.I have actually seen the food bank turn away people because they couldn't fill x amount of boxes and this is sad.Especially at the holidays,those folks are dependent on that food.Its not that they don't have some money or some food its that it just doesn't last the entire month,I certainly know this to be true.The food bank is one of the saddest places to volunteer.

i'M BEING TAUGHT TO USE A COMPUTER,i LIVE IN A HOMELESS SHELTER, I'm a widow,and you think you're going to have fun for Christmas?No job,no home,fun,EH?
