Hon... all you can do is get a keyed lock on your bedroom door to keep her out of your stuff whenever your parents allow her to move back home.

Tell her something like this: "With me, everyone starts out with a certain degree of respect, but they can adjust that level up or down by their own actions... YOU lost all my respect. You have to work hard to earn it back by being a respectable person."

Your parents are the only ones who have any authority to do anything about your sister... they have to draw the like. If she starts keeping/using/dealing drugs again, they really need to consider kicking her out so this stuff won't be under their roof.

At some point she will drag in someone with violent tendencies, or will run afoul with the local drug dealers (resulting in violence), or will talk about what all your family owns while under the influence (resulting in a very well coordinated robbery). I've been there with my younger brother.

I know she is your sister and you love her, but everyone has a breaking point. You could tell her how you feel and wait for the argument or you can wait until she's ranting and raving about respect and tell her that you will start respecting her when she starts respecting herself enough to do the right things in life. At this point in time, she is her own worst enemy. I would suggest some tough love right now. If she has a problem with it, she'll learn to change her ways or head back to prison. Some people just aren't able to make the connection between right and wrong. Your sister seems to be one of them. And right now she's trying to battle her demons. Someone needs to tell her that they love her and they'll be there to help her, but only if she starts choosing the right path. And remind her that if she keeps choosing the path she is on now, it only leads back to prison and on that path, she walks alone.

I know it's hard, but honey, she needs a wake up call.
