Is it whole pieces of food? She is bing eating meaning shes consuming large amounts of food very quickly. How many times do you feed a day? My cats used to do this all the time when they were younger so I changed them to a very bland food and they stopped. I would reccomend a higher quality food like Wellness and feeding them wet food. Its alot easier to digest than hard food.

Until you can get your cat to the vet, put a little vaseline on her paw, so that she will lick it off. My cat had this problem and the vet said it was because her intestines were blocked and the food was going in and then coming out.

It seems to do the trick. There is also something they can give you at the vet office that cats will like the smell of, but I can't remember what it's called.

The other issue is all three cats. I have five and the one who throws up the most inhales her food. She eats slower and is less likely to throw up when I move her dish away from the others so she doesn't feel like she has to eat everything at once.

The cat may have something irritating her digestive tract. Cats often throw up in order to try to get rid of whatever this substance is (whether its hair they licked, or an irritating plant, or something else). However, if she's throwing up every time she eats, this is something to be concerned about. It sounds like whatever is irritating her stomach is not coming out (or the food is aggravating the irritation further). I had a cat who couldn't stop throwing up like this after eating part of a houseplant with rough leaves (some of them can also be poisonous).

I would strongly suggest taking her to the vet, they can X-ray her to help identify the substance, and also give her something to soothe her insides to help the irritant pass and help her keep food down. Also, she might become very dehydrated or lose nutrition if she can't keep anything down, and the vet can give intravenous liquids to get her back on top. Please don't delay though... cats can hide their illness pretty well and by the time you notice it they can be going downhill fast, but the problem may be relatively easy to fix if you do get them to the vet in time, especially if it was caused by ingesting an irritating substance as in the case with my cat.

My kitty Sargent had this problem too. We took him to the vet, and the vet couldn't find anything wrong. We swiched him to soft food. Since doing that, he doesnt get sick anymore. Our vet said it's possible he developed a food allergy. We feed him Whiskes Tender Bites in Seafood or Poultry. He was never a soft food eater, so this is a good compromise. He still nibbles on hard food a couple times a day, as we have 7 other cats. I think he misses the crunch.

I have 10 cats, sharing the same large food bowl, which I fill twice a day. Sometimes more than one wants to eat at the same time, so they "gobble" their food! Almost every time, someone will throw their food back up, and I THINK it's because they try to eat TOO FAST!! Also, mine are Siamese, and that particular breed is "prone" to regurgitating their food. Since your other cats don't seem to be having the same problem, she COULD be allergic to that particular food. Maybe, you should try a small bag of a different food, for a change, and see it that makes a difference. Good luck...........

My cat did this (i have 2) I just thought it was him being greedy and eating his food too quick. Then i noticed one day somethin white on his tail. Turns out he had worms, which can make a cat vomit after eatting. So now after encouraging him to have the worm tablet he is fine. No more mess to clean up and no more wasting cat food. If you worm her and shes still sick ask the vet if she could be allergic to certain foods. I know some catfoods are very rich, try cat bicuit instead.

First, I'd try a different brand of food.

I'd also see if the one is engaging in something that more likely to make it sick. Maybe it's drinking out of the toliet or something and if your using one of those tablets in there it could be getting too much chlorine in it's system.

If nothing along those lines works, you'll probably want to take at least that one, if not all 3 to the vet.

YOU ARE POISONING YOUR DOG!!! ADVIL IS TOXIC TO DOGS STOP GIVING HER THIS IMMEDIATELY AND GET HER TO A VET!!! Where did you get the antibiotics if you didn't get it from the vet. How do you know you are not overdosing! Advil is toxic to animals, you would know this if you checked with your vet. Dogs can only take asprin you know ASA and it must be coated, and a dog the size you have a baby or childs asprin depending on weight. Also your dog should not be eating a regular diet it should be eating long grain rice only!!! The only thing your doing somewhat correctly is the Pedialyte, but from the sounds of it your dog is so dehydrated it needs to be on IV Electrolyte fluid and fast!!!

Hmm..could be a big fat pig like my Tigger and just scarfs it down and pukes....OR could be a problem.

I would take her to the vet. Could be a hairball that is lodged-only a vet can tell you that.

Could be the FOOD....know what the 2 most common allergies are in cats???? FISH and MILK....I swear.

Safest thing would be the vet..IF it is a problem physically, it only gets worse and more expensive the longer you wait.

Good luck. :)

Get that cat to a vet, pronto! There's a possibility
she may have a bowel obstruction, which is always
serious. We have had this happen 3 times
to our cats and fortunately they came through
the necessary surgery fine.
