According to the story, they were already there, apparently the result of failed experiments. God, the original mad scientist!

If God created ALL things, he created evil and Satan. Indeed, Isaiah 45 v 7 reads, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." One cannot claim God is the creator, without acknowledging he created EVERYTHING. If he did not create everything, there was more than one creator; more than one god.
And as the argument goes, if God is all-knowing, he knew that Satan would become the Arch Angel. Regardless of when God created Satan, we know Evil was had already been created in Genesis because "Evil" is mentioned numerous times. For example: Genesis 2:9
"And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil."
I suppose one could argue that Satan and Evil are not one in the same. Which would open a new can of worms. If Satan is not the cause of Evil, then did Evil exist prior to Satan? If so, why does Satan get blamed with everything evil.
This is a "which came first, the chicken or the egg" type question.
For the record, I am an Atheist. I believe the bible is purely a work of fiction. However, I do have a decent understanding of the bible, and enjoy debating the details of it.
Considering the 6 day account of God's creation in Genesis also says there was "light" before there was a sun, I suppose there is obviously multipel chicken/egg riddles to consider
GOOD QUESTION. THANKS.

That was after everything was created. This happened in the war in heaven. Satan wanted to make everyone be good and in turn get all the glory, where as Jesus wanted to give everyone the option of being good or bad. Jesus then made it possible for everyone to be saved and gave the glory to God. (God and Jesus are 2 different people). 1/3 of everyone that could have been went with Satan's plan and couldn't live with God, so they all went to hell. The other 2/3 of everyone got a body, went to Earth, and can go to heaven after death.

He didn't. They're not part of natural creation, they are a spiritual being and a spiritual realm/place. They're not included in the six-day creation.
From what other passages in scripture say/imply, they were created before what we think of as Creation. Satan was already Satan when it came time to tempt Eve.

Hell as a place of torment is a false concept , that people confuse with the lake of fire you can see the differences in Revelation 20:14, so the place of torture doesn´t exist, but the lake of fire which mean the power of God to destroy has existed forever, but Satan as an angel or son of God, existed billions of years ago, before the creation of the universe but he was a good angel in that time according to Job 1:6 and 38:4-7.
Satas wasn´t an archangel there is only one Archangel that is the firstson of God (Michael) Satan is a Cherubim according to Ezekiel 28:11, and he became evil in the gardem of Edem.
Satan IS NOT in hell , according to the bible he was cast out to the earth (Revelation 12:7) and that happenned after the book of Revelation was written.

As I understand it "Satan" existed long before the Creation
in which we live.
"Satan" became, after eons of time observing himself flying over the Christal lake, became arrogant, as he was the most beautiful of all in God's creation.
he challenged God and was cast down to earth, where he led Adam & Eve to sin.
The rest, is, as we say, History. I suggest you read the History book. there is a lot one can and, should learn in that History book. Good Luck
God Bless You.

When heaven was created, Gods chief musso rebelled and wanted all the action, cant blame him all the fun, happiness and excitement, with hope, was it before or after the earth, was God in need of the devil before he created men and women to demonstrate Jesus power might, faith and forgiveness as a work of Grace?
Perhaps those insecure might want to answer this, but, by being evasive, I can not think of the biblical verse if it is said at all, can you enlighten me back??? Where in the bible does it say, God created hell? Did not Lucifer rebel instead?
Some say, burn in hell, I gotta believe, hells gonna be uncomfortable for some believers they gonna be ready for it being hot and its gonna freeze their proverbials over!

Satan was not created, he is one of God's angles, Lucifer, who grew selfish and acted against God. God cast him away into what we refer to as hell. It is there where Satan acts to tempt and draw us away from God. This all happened before creation.

Not sure and I'm not sure if the bible even says so. You never know he may have done it after the six days of creating the universe.
