For about 4.5 months I've had diarrhea, coupled with dizziness, nausea, and some mild stomach pain. The first two months the diarrhea was pretty heavy, but it's lessened now. I've gone from a L in tops to a S and from a 13/12 to 10/9 in pants. I've been tested for worms, and there is no chance of pregnancy. I saw a gastroenterologist and blood tests were taken and I will be having a "flexible sigmoidoscopy" (basically a scope of my butt) in a few months. The blood test will be able to detect if I have celiac disease, and I have yet to test lactose.
Any ideas of what I might have or similar storys?Encouragements for me? I just feel like I'm not getting any answers, and that it's taking forever to get no where with all of this. Just wondering what people might think.

I have a pretty decent diet, and I'm not on any medications nor have I been.
I believe Thyroid is included in my recent blood test.

I'd go on a bland diet (look it up on line) to start with, don't have any dairy and no sugar, caffiene or junk foods. Drink lots of water, no juices (have sugar).

Did you have any antibiotics in the last few months? If you took a new type, you may have C-def, but if you are "better" maybe not. C-def is caused by a reaction to the antibiotic and can cause some very serious problems.

I would also check with a naturopath to see what they say. Taking a probiotic (see a good quality one in the refrig. section at the health food store, maybe Renew Life). This will help to balance your intestinal flora, which may be way out of balance.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

If you had diarrhea for 4.5 month, now your intestines lining has lost of it's quality to absorb nutrients your body needs. yoy have to take supplements like vitC, Vit K, and the most important PROBIOTICS.
Also drink a lot of Fresh mint tea. You should not boil the mint, but make an infusion, means: two stems of mint in the boiled water for 5 mins then drink it.
Prepare this three times a day, and drink fresh, to preserve the Vit C in it.
what about Probiotics, read about it in Mercola.com

Could be food allergies.
Could be what you are eating. Are you taking that Alli stuff or eating lots of food with artificial fats, like Olestra?
Do you eat a balanced diet?
