My belief is we are created in the Image of God.

Man being the first of God's creation we see the strength of God. .

Women being the last of God's creation we see the senitive side of God. We are created with the heart of God to be more emotional and sentitive and more gentle than men.

As I read some of the questions and answer from atheist I see that some of the women are more heart-hardened than the men.

I don't mean any disrespect, and I'm not trying to insult anyone, but can anyone tell me when and why the disbelief started or if you ever believed?

My heart is not at all hardened. I never believed in any god(s). I started calling myself an atheist at 14. The reasons for not believing are many, to include the fact that the god myths are simply too outrageous for me to take seriously, and the universe too vast and impersonal to have at its helm a loving creator.

Thats a stereotype. Most people are not atheist. Most people believe that there is a God or a higher power. I have not seen women being more heart hardened then the man, if you have did you ask the women what happened to her that made her heart hard? I know a lot of females of all different beliefs or really no beliefs and they all have good hearts. The heart hardening has nothing to do with what God you believe in it has to do with that one persons life experience.

Well I am not a girl but My disbelief started when My faith told me that anyone who did not follow our belief system was not going to heaven.

Somehow I doubted that a loving God would set up such a situation. I eventually came to the conclusion that God was not an idiot.

I don't see that being tough indicates disbelief.

We've had to be tough from day one. Men by their nature aren't much in the nurturing department, so we've had to learn not to expect it from them. They do pretty much what they want, when they want. If they're nice, it's to get sex, for the most part, or something else they want (not that they seem to want much else). We women have had to learn to rely on each other because men can't generally be relied upon. If that's somehow an indicator of "disbelief," then you'll have to explain it to me.

When I was 18 I stopped believing in the Christian God.
I realized a good God wouldn't send ANYONE to suffer FOREVER, which is what Hell supposedly is. No matter what you've done, no one deserves that.

How is having a tough skin disbelief? Not following your rationale.

Sweetie, life has made me a strong woman on the outside.

Inside I can be all mush but that is not one of my virtues, in my opinion.

Man and woman were not made in God's image. ALLAH(Subhanna wa ta'ala) is not like his creations.

May be the disbelief amongst atheists is caused by the

1. Saint Paul's invention of Trinity for which Bible doesn't have a solid proof. I hear from lots of Catholics saying he/she attended Catholic School but disbelieves in Catholicism.

2. by elevating the great Prophet of God to the level of God or the son of God because of the miracles done by God Himself through the hands of Jesus Christ (Peace and blessings be upon Him) though there is no clear proof in Bible in the statements of Jesus Christ saying clearly like
I am the God
I am the only son of God
Worship me and no one else etc. etc.

In Quran God clearly says over and over repeatedly in entire Quran that

He is the only God,
the Absolute God,
The Creator of heavens and Earth
The Sustainer of all worlds He has created
The only Provider of every living creature He Created

We don't find any thing like this in Bible.

See what God says in Quran

"And behold Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary Did you say to men, Worship me and my mother as gods besides Allah He will say-"Glory to you I could never say what I had no right (to say')" (Soorah Al-Maa'idah- 5:116)

"Verily Allah will not forgive the joining of partners with Him, but He may forgive (sins) less than that for whom so ever He wishes"(Soorah An- Nisaa 4:48 and 116)

"For We assuredly sent amongst every people a prophet,(with the command) worship me and avoid false gods " (Soorsh Al-Nahl 16:36)

If only they had stood by the law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There Is from among them a party on the right course; but many of them follow a course that Is evil.". (Soorah Al-.Maa'idah 5:66)

Nor did he worship himself when he worshipped but rather he worshipped Allah. This basic principle is enshrined in the opening chapter of the Qur'aan, known as Soorah Al-Faatihah, verse 4:

"You alone do we worship and from you alone do we seek help".
Elsewhere, in the final book of revelation, the Qur'aan, Allah also said:

"And your Lord says:"Call on Me and I will answer your(prayer)."(Soorsh Mu'min 40:60)

"Laa Elaaha lllallaah" (There is no god but Allah)

Its repetition automatically brings one within the fold of Islam and sincere belief in it guarantees one Paradise.

Thus, the final Prophet of Islam is reported to have said, "Any one who says: There is no god but Allah and dies holding that (belief) will enter paradise".(Reported by Abu Dharr and collected by Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim).

It consists in the submission to Allah as one God, yielding to Him by obeying His commandments, and the denial of polytheism and polytheists.

He has commanded that you only worship Him; that is the right religion, but most men do not understand ". (Soorah Yoosuf 12:40)

"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion". (Soorah Al-Maa'idah 5:3)

"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah (God) never will It be accepted of Him" (Soorah Aal'imraan 3:85)
