I read that the process usually begins around fall, and i have been baptized already. so i guess im a christian.

I know, it says you become a catholic by the time of Easter. would i still have enough time to convert if i were to start now in November?

Probably not.

If you are a deeply spiritual baptized Christian then there should not be a problem being received into the Church at the Easter vigil.

Theoretically you can start the process at any time. However all parishes are not yet set up to provide this year round ministry.

Contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group. You can go and ask any questions you want.

This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time. There is no obligation to become a Catholic.

With love and prayers in Christ.

Well first, congratulations on deciding to join the Catholic Church!

Because you are already baptized you don't technically have to go through RCIA, but many Churches require it nevertheless to help teach new Catholics the faith. Either way, there is a good chance you can join now and receive the sacraments at the Easter Vigil.

Speak with your local parish priest to find out about the schedule for RCIA (Rite of Christian Initation for Adults).

Don't let anything keep you from joining the Church...even if you have to wait a little while it will be worth it!

May God bless you and welcome to the Catholic Church!!!
