What exactly are the differences? I looked it up but didn't exactly understand. and what is the yearly pay difference?

It's essentially like a doctor and nurse. Vets starting around 60, I think, but techs would like 30. Techs assist, take blood, test blood, help in surgery, do xrays. Vets are in charge and actually do any procedures and give any vaccines.

A vet is an actual doctor, for animals, with many years of schooling, college and then vet school. A vet tech assists a vet. Yearly pay depends on many things, but would be very different.
