I think some since late 1800's. Though Christ 2nd coming was close.
Jw's from 1918,"million now living will never die." [ not enough time for Satan from Egypt ].
Daniel [ year 3460 Dan.12:1-13]; gives all time, after last days in the time of the end, 2520 years to Satan has a short time in the time of the end. So who says the bible gives the years of that short time in the time of the end for Satan? I would not be a bible student if it did not do so, no one really believes the bible anyway.
The world does not have the bible in circulation in the world very many years until the time of the end begans, At 2007, bible in world 396 years.

Well, that depends on which Christians you mean.
In the XIX century a guy named Miller predicted the exact date of the end of the world, and conquered 10% of the population of the usa.
The bad news ( or good, depending on how you see it ), was that the world did not end. Some other people from different denominations have said that, but so far, they are mistaken, as Jesus said

Since Christ was here and said something to the effect of I'll be back soon. Even though that was about 2,000 years ago, you have to take into account that Jesus views time in a different way than we do.

About 2000 years. But that's just a passage of time when dealing with eternity. Where a day is like 10,000 years.
Remember God is also long suffering, you should be thankful for that.
But make no mistake, He is coming, like a thief in the night, you need to be prepared.
If a man new the hour a thief was coming he would lay in wait for him.

2 Peter 3:4-6 (New International Version)
4 They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."
5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water.
6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.

they are the same God yet 2 diverse "persons" in accordance to my Bible. Rev 5 is the place you notice the two God the daddy and the Son jointly. it extremely is the place the Son gets the identify deed to all that's or ever would be. "and that i beheld, and, lo, interior the middle of the throne and of the 4 beasts, and interior the middle of the elders, stood a Lamb because it were slain, having seven horns and 7 eyes, that are the seven Spirits of God despatched forth into each and every of the earth. and he got here and took the e book out of the main suitable hand of him that sat upon the throne." Jesus once told a group of people that some of them would still be alive when he gets back.
Ever since there have always been some people who think Jesus will come in their lifetime.
