The black/tan color pattern is generally seen in Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, and German Shepherds (as well as several smaller breeds, but your pup is too big to be any of those). The thicker body type suggests Rottweiler. He could be mixed with something else, but I'd say he's mostly Rottie.

That is a rottweiler, it has the markings and pretty much the face/head shape...it may not be 100% pure the head is a little less square than a good bred rottie but then again I have seen some narrow headed registered rotties too so without knowing both parents I would say a rottie x.

Always hard to guess with mixed breeds, but the coloring can be from a rottie or a black Australian shepherd. There may be some German shepherd in there...

It looks like a Rottie mix. Could be junk bred (or backyard bred) Rottie though as well.
