This is what I don't understand why is weight everything? Body fat % should be people's main concern because everyone knows muscle weighs more than fat. If you feel self concious about your weight and image start a reasonable workout schedule. Start by jogging 20 minutes a day followed by a 10 minute walk. Maybe do some situps, pushups, sign up for a gym membership.

You obviously already need therapy so you can find the root of your problem. No matter what you think, the thoughts and obsession with disordered eating have little, if anything, to do with weight. It's about control and other deep-seated fears.
Go see a therapist. It's not a horrifying, embarrassing experience. It's actually quite rewarding and interesting. You might be referred to a psychiartrist if your problem seems severe, because a psychiatrist can get a better look into your mind (so to speak,) and perscribe medicines if needed.
I can't fathrom why you feel the way you do, but therapy can help you discover the reasons. Or, if you live in a big city, you might look up eating disorders support groups and attend one of their meetings. Don't feel like you have to contribute your own story, just listen.

the best way to lose weight is with a healthy diet and excercise. 2 litres of water a day and 1/2 hour walk is all you need to get started. forget about the bulimia and annorexia that will only open up a whole new world of problems for you and once you get into that lifestyle you will find it so hard to come back. you will be alone because it will be your secret battle not to mention the rotting teeth and organ shutdown. dont go there. stay healthy and anyway, men like curvier women stop putting so much pressure on yourself.

Gaining weight isn't always your fault. Your life could be stressful right now. Becoming vegetarian doesn't make you thinner either. You might want to talk w/ a close friend about this, or even a family member so they can check up on you. I gained 10lbs after starting cross country, and it really messed w/ my mind, many women think about this and never actually go through w/ the actual act. I'll be praying for you.

I highly suggest talking to a nutritionalist. There is a good chance your diet is also reaking havoc on your emotions. The nutritionalist is not as expensive as you might think (or as expensive as years of therapy) and your doctor should help you get a good one. This person will help you make sure that you are getting all of the nutrients that you need without overdoing the carbs and veggie-fats. You will get your weight under control and possibly right any chemicals that were thrown off-balance by this sudden lifestyle change.

You don't mention your age, but you should be consulting your parents, a school counselor, or a physican. There is nothing good that comes from sticking your finger down your throat to vomit. Do a google search on anorexics who have died in their attempt to be skinny.
I am curious about why you have gained weight becoming a vegetarian. See a doctor.
Good luck!!!

First of all think about it. Do you want to lose weight or body fat? If you want to lose body fat the best think to do is to exercise. You might gain weight because muscle weight more than fat.
Don't worry about your weight. What matters is your body fat. If your worrying about being anorexic tell someone you trust about your fears. If you really don't want to talk to your doctor. They may be able to help you with your weight too.

Exercise or eat less.
People like you make me sick. Children die from anorexia and bulimia and you think it's just a diet that you can make yourself 'get'? Pathetic! People are predisposed to eating disorders (perfectionist types are more likely get anorexia or bulimia, whereas people who have unstructured childhoods tend to go towards over eating)
