Heyyell I am not a Gordon fan and I said he was screwed.
As for boring I haven't had this good of naps since I was watching the PGA!
DAYYAM I hope next year is better.

I don't call it unfair or boring.
The format does suck... but they know the rules going into it.. and as ticked off as I was about the outcome, it's still not unfair... and by no means was it boring! Come on! Jeff and Jimmie were so freakin close the last few races.. How is that boring?
What I call boring is if there was no chase, and Jeff Gordon would have had it locked up quite a few races ago and then who would have been on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen? ...ugh.. but still.. lol, I don't like the chase. Whatever! I'm on both sides of the fence. haha

How was it unfair? Didn't everybody race under the same points format? Last time I checked it was the same for everyone. I am a huge Gordon fan, but would never say it was unfair. It was exactly the same for everyone. Honestly I'm tired of all the other Gordon fans crying about it though.

Gordon had a very sucessful year. This is the second time he lost the Championship under the new format when under the Old System he would be celebrating his 6th Championship right now. But he knew what he was up against. If you want to race at that level you have to accept the system or retire!!!!

Boring season? a driver wins 4 in a row for the first time in 9 years, we have side-by-side finishes at BOTH Daytona races, a load of guys win their first races, and a driver gets double digit wins.
This is boring?
Not a Johnson fan, but he won it with a dominating late season run.

I,ve been a nascar fan since the early 70,s...The chase I really don,t care for...I stopped watching about 5 weeks ago...i,m just glad that someone else won the race and not the 24 or 48..I,m looking forward to seeing JR. with another team and Gibbs for running toyota for 2008...3 months and it,s a new season!!!

Same here i thought especially the last couple races. Congrats to Johnson though on his Series Win. Although I personally would have liked to see Gordon win.
