The definition of an abortion is 'the willful termination of a pregnancy'. Therefore, anyone who believes in God should understand that God is responsible for countless abortions. What do they think miscarriages are?
I'd like to know what Xian doesn't think it's a sin to force a scared teenaged child into having a deformed and/or retarded baby b/c they'd take that choice away from them. All 'pro-life' is 'anti-choice'.
Outlawed Spirit-'...but what part of "Thou Shalt not Kill" are you having trouble understanding?...'
Have you read the OT? It seems God is the one who has a hard time understnding the word 'kill'.

Abortion....oooooooh I hope i get this out before a self hating Christian has it removed. I am a Christian, I would love my atheist child just as much as I would Love my Christian child. I would spend my whole life patiently kindly and calmly talking to him/her about God and his' love. Im not saying it's sin, im not saying its not. God decides sin, not I. Im saying that I will love my child and raise my child, Christian or not!

Abortion is a personal decision.
I personally would never have one, no matter what the scenario.
I believe that abortion is wrong, yet I would never try to get politically involved to effect laws to impinge my beliefs on other people who have the right to do what they feel is acceptable.
Conversely, I think that other people should not lobby to make laws that would infringe upon my beliefs.

As far as the Bible is concerned, abortion, other than miscarriage, is an offense to the responsibility of procreation that has been given to humans.

God knows who will grow up to be an atheist, but lets them be born. Why should we humans take away free will? There is no such thing as freedom of choice if God pre-screens to only allow the birth of those who will serve Him.

Thou shalt not murder means thou shalt not murder.

I do not see even a foot note in any version that excludes any group.

P.S.: All laws force a standard of beliefs and ethics on a society.

abortion is not a good thing to do.
you are basically killing a child without even giving them a chance to live.
what they do in their lives is God's will.

This is an irrelevant question. It's IMPOSSIBLE to know. Therefore, it's pointless to ask.

Of course it is. All abortion is bad. No baby deserves to be aborted. Abortion is murder in my view.
