Might be a duh duh question but can you play a playstaion 3 game on a PS2

I don't know why so many people ask the question if a PS2 can play a PS3 game, but the answer is no. If you want to play GTA 4 I advise that you get a Playstation 3 like me and everyone else that has gotten one.
If a PS2 could play a PS3 game then their really wouldn't be a need for a PS3 and plus the PS2 doesn't even have the technology to play Blu-Ray discs or any of the PS3 games.

According to the product information that I have read, NO. But you can go back and play a PS2 on the PS3.

you can play ps 2 games on ps 3;s
exept the new 40 gig ps3 but no you cant play ps3 on ps2;s sorry
my sugestion
by a ps 3
they are definitly worth it

If you could play PS3 games on PS2, why would any consumer pay $400+ dollars for a PS3?
