Our present day named "Saturday" is the true Biblical Sabbath. What God has made Holy no man has the right to change. Please let no one decieve you on this important topic!
Sunday is not the Christian Sabbath. There is absolutely no Biblical justification for Sunday being a day of worship. Sunday was taken from paganism. Sunday worship was introduced by the apostate church (Catholic) of Rome under the rulership of the Roman Emperor Constantine. Constantine was a worshiper of Mithra the Sun God and never repented of it. All who worship on Sunday are sharing in the worship of this false god. Deuteronomy 12:30-31.
All this can be easily proven by an internet search of articles with the above names and topics.
The idea that the resurrection was on a Sunday is also false and stems from a lack of knowledge of the Biblical Holy Days, which was supressed by the Catholic church. Read the Passion story in the Gospels, there were TWO Sabbaths that week. Why?
Hebrews 4, read it carefully, it mentions the 7th day, not the first day, as the sancified day of rest. Please look at your calender and see which day is which.
Almost all "christian" churches agree that the 10 Commandments are valid........except for the 4th. Few realize that the 4th Commandment is a reflection back to Creation when the very first thing God made holy was the SABBATH. Thus the Sabbath pre-existed the Siani Covenant! Read Genesis. Read Matthew 5:17-19, what is Christ talking about? Matthew 5:17-19 is in there for our benefit. This is the Messiah, the Savior of the world talking. He did not intend for a single Law of God to be rescinded by His sacrifice for those who broke that Law.
Why is the Law important? Romans 3:20, 7:7, and others
What is sin? 1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
What happens to sinners? Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death....
Because we are under grace, and remember that the above verses define sin and the penalty for it, are we free to do as we wish? Romans 6:15
What is the sign of the True Church, the Elect, at the end of the age?
Revelations 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Lets keep it simple, forget for a moment that there are aproximately 613 Commandments in the Torah and that Yashua says that the least of them has not passed away {Again, read Matthew 5:17-19 and really think about what is being said}, there still remains the 10. Lets suppose (falliciously) that all that there are, are the 10. Are Christians required to keep them? Please study the following verses. Will you take the plain word of the Apostles of the Christ and the Christ Himself over the false teachings of your chruches?
Rev 22:14, Rev 12:17, 1 John 5:2-3, 1Jo 2:3-4, 1 John 3:4, 1 Corinthians 7:19, John 15:10, Mark 7:7, Matthew 5:19.
The 4th Commandment states:
Exodus 20:8 Keep in memory the Sabbath and let it be a holy day.9 On six days do all your work: 10 But the SEVENTH day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; on that day you are to do no work, you or your son or your daughter, your man-servant or your woman-servant, your cattle or the man from a strange country who is living among you: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and everything in them, and he took his rest on the seventh day: for this reason the Lord has given his blessing to the seventh day and made it holy.
The Sabbath was the first thing God created to be Holy. What God has made Holy, no man has the right to change. It was Holy before Sinai, it was made for man when man was made {Mark 2:27, and others)
You really owe it to yourselves to study the following links before rejecting the True Sabbath any longer.

Hogie, the Sabbath was made for man when man was made. The Sinai Covenant restating that Law had no effect on something that existed from creation. God says He made that day Holy, not some other day, and if God has made something holy then you cannot void it suddenly byyour deceptions and smooth lies.
MLF, your reasoning is very flawed. The Sabbath is the Sabbath. I have worked in a places that requires 7 day a week availability for the past 12 years and I do not work on the Biblical Sabbath sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. It is a choice whether you truly wish to obey God or not. In a truly God-fearing world those folks you try to hold up as examples would not necessarily have to work on the Sabbath either.

Hello Deordarant. Great question. The Seventh day of the week is Saturday. Saturday according to scripture would be both the Sabbath and the Lord's day. The term Lord's day is essentially the same meaning for Sabbath. Day of rest. Jesus did not institute a new day of worship before or after his death. The Apostles continue to honor the original Sabbath established by God at Creation. (Genesis 2:1-3). God reiterated the importance of the Sabbath in the Ten Commandments, "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy" (Exodus 20:8-11). The Sabbath and Ten Commandments are not exclusive to the Jewish people as some falsely teach. The Sabbath is for all nations and generations of people to come.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Christian church that honors God's true Sabbath. The church is one of the fastest growing christian churches in the world. Over 15 million members. Most of the growth of the Adventist church today is largely due to people around the world learning the truth about God's Sabbath.
Keep the Sabbath(Saturday) Holy.

The Sabbath was given to man for physical rest from labor, not necessarily to attend worship service. The debate over Saturday or Sunday is really not the issue. The Bible Sabbath(day of rest) is not about a particular day of the week that must be strictly observed by everyone at the exact same time. What about military, EMS, hospitals, firemen, policemen, etc..?
A careful reading and understanding of the Sabbath law says. "Six days you shall labor and rest of the seventh day, remember to do this." So if you start work on Sunday, your day of rest would be Saturday. If you start work on Tuesday, your day of rest would then be Monday. The commandment is to work six days, and rest the next day which would be the seventh day. It's not a religious requirement, and you don't get 'brownie points' for going to Church. (Saturday or Sunday)

Saturday is the day of Sabbath.........it actually starts friday night when the suns go down and ends Saturday night...This is how the Jewish people were in worship..but if you want to understand a little deeper of this truth i will share.....the Sabbath is the day of rest....for if you believe in the Lord you can come unto his rest daily not just on Saturday. For he Signifies the number 7 which means spiritual perfection....for this is the true day of rest when he destroys the rudiments of this world.....for in this is the only way people can truly take rest.
And when Christ comes back this is the Great day of the Lord which is also the beginning of the Sabbath which is the end of the 6 day which in turn is the start of the 7th day which is the beginning of the 7th millinium from Adam.....and now Christ is infact literally (physically) with us....this is how we are able to take rest in his spiritual perfection.....For he will teach us many things.....for he will show us the difference between the Holy and the profane,......our eyes will be open and our ears will hear his voice in the fullness of his Glory!

Saturday is the seventh day of the week. Therefore, it is the Sabbath day since God ordained it back in Genesis...in the first week of Creation. That first Sabbath must have been a wonderful experience for the newly created Man, Woman, and all the animals because they spent it in person with the Son of God.

Yahweh's calendar is not locked into a pagan named day or cycle of days, Sunday, Monday etc. His day of rest is the SEVENTH day of a seven day count process revealed in Scripture. It is tied in with the phases of the moon, and that is the reason behind the NEW MOON day NEVER being counted as part of the seven day counting process. The days of the MONTH start on the NEW MOON Day BUT that particualr day IS NOT counted in the seven day count to Sabbath. There are over 70 examples where the sabbath is on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, or 29th day of the month. There are NONE where it can be shown otherwise. An example of this is when the Israylites came out of Egypt the first month, the 15th was a weekly sabbath AND THE SECOND MONTH AS WELL. Specifically stated. The moon phasing we are in the month I write this the Sabbath is falling on what is commonly called Saturday, Last Moon phase it was on Friday, and Next moon it will fall on Monday If I remember correctly. MORE INFROMATION is available at www.lunarsabbath.org
Proof that it is not always on Saturday. Proof that it falls on the days of the month as I said. Proof that Saturday sabbath is wrong. Proof that Sunday Sabbath is wrong, is avaialbe at the site. www.lunarsabbath.org

Look it up in the Webster dictionary:
"seventh day -- Saturday, the seventh day of the week."
The reason why we observe the Sabbath on a Sunday is because the church changed it even though God never gave it the authority to do so. It is a complete invention of misguided men that has no support in the Bible. God Himself specifically warns us not to tamper with His law.

Sunday, since the time of Christ. But what's really important is that we set apart a day specifically to worship God, even though worship should be a way of life.

The day commonly called "Saturday" is the actual seventh day of the week, which makes it the Sabbath, the day for worship & rest.

II Thessalonians 2:8—
And then that lawless one will be revealed, whom
Yahshua will remove with the breath of His mouth, and
make powerless with the appearance of His coming—
The Prophet Daniyl shows this same thing when
speaking of the first beast.
Daniyl 7:25-27—
25 And he will speak great words against Yahweh,
and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away,
the Saints of Yahweh, and think to change the Feasts,
Holy Days, and Laws; and they will be given into his
hand until a time, and times, and the dividing of time.
Daniyl shows the beast will change the Mark
of Yahweh, which are Yahweh’s Feast Days and the
Sabbaths. Daniyl shows this power would continue
until Yahshua returns.
We know that the lying sign is the changing of
the Sabbaths of Yahweh. Keeping the Sabbaths of
Yahweh is the Mark of Yahweh that identifies
Yahweh’s Family. We know this lying mark will continue
until the Millenium.
It all starts with the keeping of the Holy Sabbath.
Exodus 13:9—
And it shall be as a Sign to you upon your hand and
as a Memorial between your eyes, that Yahweh’s Law
shall be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Yahweh
has brought you out of Egypt.
As we learned, the word sign is shown in the
Hebrew Dictionary of Strong’s Concordance to
mean mark, token, sign, consent, flag, evidence of
consent.
The keeping of Yahweh’s Sabbaths is a sign or
evidence of consent to obedience to the Laws of
Righteousness.
How did Satan bring this lying sign about? What
could be such a lying sign that would deceive the
whole world?
Does the Papacy acknowledge changing the
Sabbath?
It does.
PAPAL POWER
ACKNOWLEDGES THIS ACT
What power has claimed authority to change Yahweh’s
law?
The Papacy.
NOTE__"The Pope is of so great authority and power that
he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws..
Jam 4:12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
