The Apostle Paul! He is proof that no matter what you have done God will forgive you. He persecuted Christians and denounced Jesus. Then, heeding to Gods message, He converted and was the biggest contributer to the NT. He defended Christ and his brothers @ all cost. He was imprisoned for his beliefs and still Showed love and compassion to his oppressors. He trusted Jesus in a way I only wish I could. Jesus said we can move mountains with our faith. Paul proved him right. I loved this question. God Bless You!!!!!!!!

There are so many! The Bible records "snapshots" of many people so that we can be assured that no matter what, God loves us.

May I cast a vote for Thomas? Even though he'll always be remembered as "doubting Thomas", he made up his mind once and for all when he saw Jesus alive. There weren't many people whom Jesus called "blessed" face to face, but Thomas was one of these. Again, a very good question indeed and let's get more answers!

In the Old Testament: my favorite is King David, the "man after God's own heart." He had a difficult life, and even made terrible mistakes, but God was always with him.

In the New Testament: my favorite is Mary, "the handmaid of the Lord" because she always showed such unfailing love toward and confidence in her Son.
