Who knows. Good for you if that's something that's important to you though and you've stuck it out this long.

Because guys put so much time & effort into "nailing" the girls no matter what they look like, do or say. It's a contest. The fact that your a virgin is astounding to many. 1st thoughts would be your home schooled, under lock & key & have brothers guarding you 24/7.
You have made a great choice but it is pretty rare.
It's hard to believe you are a "true" virgin.
You've never had an experience you just don't count as sex because it didn't have insertion by a male?
Good for you on standing your moral ground. Some women do that in foreign countries do that so they can have the same rights as men do. If they are caught they can be put to death. No kidding!

Why would you tell people you are a virgin? That is such a personal thing. Is that what is the most important thing about yourself that you can share with people. It is nobody's business who you sleep with, if you do sleep with someone, or if you don't. Sleeping, meaning making out, by the way. Learn to have some boundaries about your life, and don't discuss your sex life, or none, with anyone. It will come back to haunt you.
It isn't impossible to be a virgin today, but again, isn't there anything else to talk about except sex? Look around, get busy and get focused on something above your belly button.
Have a good day, and guard those personal things.

It's true. Nowadays being a virgin at your age isn't common. But what do you care if people don't believe you? Why even bring it up? If you don't want people to laugh then don't tell them about your personal business. Good for you that you want to wait!

Well, because in this day and age, people usually lose their virginity when they're teenagers (at least I did) I don't know how you've been able to hold all of those emotions in for so long, but who gives a care what anyone believes. Believe in yourself and your ethics always.

My buddy was/is a virgin at 28.
I try to give him good advice.
I told him that if he was going to wait this long, make sure it means something. I told him to stay away from whores who wanted to take his virginity like a trophy.

Today he is dating a very nice girl and i don't ask him if he did it. He will tell me when the time is right.

Don't worry about what people say. Do what YOU feel is right.

It happens all the time. In fact, my friend who was a 25 year old Virgin is now a 35 year old Virgin. Hopefully you find the right person.

People laugh because our society has lost its moral values. To be a virgin is like being the Virgin Mary.. Unbelievable. Not to say I don't have friends that waited and I still have one waiting and she now is in her late 30's. Do not worry about what others say.

Why do you tell anybody in the first place? I consider it to be a very personal and private issue.

It is immature and disrespectful and in bad taste to boast about how many sexual partners one has had, and that is equally true if the number is zero.

Do not say that you are a virgin. If anyone asks, just tell them that you don't talk about your sexual history. Nobody's business.

If you say that you are a virgin, in any kind of a boastful way (because you are Christian and religious) than that is no better than boasting about how often you go to church or how often you pray or how much you give to charity. Jesus commanded us Christians not to do that sort of thing.

I think that some people just don't believe you becasue of much of the youth today now is lucky if they aren't pregnant at age 16. I agree with you, no sex before marriage. You're a good example. I hope that I will be like you.

I was a 32 year old virgin when I got married, and my husband was a virgin well into his 30's as well. Society expects everyone to conform to whatever skewed norm they come up with. The entertainment industry makes everyone believe that everyone is having this mind-blowing sex, so everyone goes out in search of it. All it does is cause heartache in the end. Stick to your guns, and forget what anyone else thinks.
