I also got into a wreck yesterday...since the insurance company wasnt open to switch the car i was driving to the full coverage will the insurance company honor the full coverage on the other car since they were closed the day of the accident or will it not matter and will not cover the car that was wrecked???

Most automobile insurance policies contain coverage for 'Temporary Substitue Motor Vehicles'. This is a private passenger vehicle temporarily used as a substitute for a vehicle insured by a policy that is broken down, is being repaired or serviced. The coverages for the substitute vehicle is the same as the coverages for the vehicle originally insured. The one big condition is that the substitute automobile cannot be owned by someone insured under the policy. Since both vehicles are owned by your uncle then the second vehicle is only covered for the coverages stated in that vehicle's policy. If the first vehicle was owned by you and the second vehicle by your uncle, then coverage under the 'Temporary Substitute Motor Vehicle' clause would apply.

No. You can't retroactively cover an automobile for collision after you have had an accident. If you caused damage to another's vehicle or property, the liability coverage will kick in for that, but the damage to the car you were driving will not be covered.

No, it's not going to carry over. If you want full coverage on the second car, you have to pay for it. It will have only liability insurance on it.

If you own four cars, you can't get "full coverage" on all of them by only listing it on one of them. Sorry.

Sold car, called my insurance company to removed it from policy but did n t want to close account. They still charging me for the same amount as if i had a car on the policy. Its been 10days and I finally found a car to add back. The insurance company told me I would have to renew the policy and the price of adding the car would be less but I have to pay almost double the first month. Why?

They will not pay for collision damage because the car involved wasn't insured for it. Your stated intention to change the coverage is irrelevant.
