I was one for 22 years, and it took me 18 more to de-program. It is OK to look into the doctrines of any religion, but it is also important to know if the are truly Christians.

Jehovah's Witnesses are relatively unique among self-described Christians in that they understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom by Christ Jesus is a real government which will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

We practice Love to others and among ourselves(John13:35 ; 17:16 ; Acts10:34,35) Rather than killing one another we are willing to die for one another(1John3:16) we are not dividedby race or culture, and we are no part of the world
We trust God's Word instread of teaching traditions and commands of men as doctrines like the trinity and the hellfire teachings. because we believe the Scriptures we know that all the Bible is inspired by God not just some parts(1Timothy3:16)
Indeed, in235 lands Jehovah's Witnesses do not just preach the Bible's moral standards, we live by them, I would urge you to contact one of Jehovah's Witnesses who will help you learn what God requires of you so that you can worship him acceptably. Now is the time to act. Do not delay. The end of false religion is near(Zephaniah2:2,3) This is just a brief few details of our beliefs as you can immagine it is impossible to list all our beliefs in a short space. May Jehovah God bless your efforts to learn about him (Numbers6:24-26)

There's a lot to learn about our Faith.. I can name you a couple of things we believe in in point form if you like, (By the way, a lot of websites have false information about us)
- we believe that God's name(Jehovah) is very important.- We don't believe in the trinity because the Bible clearly states that God is the head of Jesus, not equal to him. - That man IS a soul, not has a soul. (We have a spirit)- The wages of sin is death, not life in torment(hell)- That baptism is for those who have been made disciples and taught to obey Jesus' commandments(not baptism at birth)..More things..Idolatry is wrong, we don't go to heaven when we die(God will create a new system of things, a paradise earth)...If you want to learn more you can simply go to our website .. http://www.watchtower.org/....OR pick up the Bible and read!! hehe

Very simple, we believe that sooner Jesus Christ will be set by Jehovah his father as the ruler of this earth after Armageddon, right now Satan rules this world (1 John 5:19) and Armageddon will change that, during his 1000 years kingdom Jesus Christ will "fix" all the problems humans have as illness famines and death, and people that are dead will be resurrected (john 5:28-29) and humans and earth will reach a perfect conditions, this planet WON¨T be destroyed but fixed by Jesus Christ, there are several verses of the bible that says that.
In the mean time we don´t get involved in politics and abstain as much as possible of the things that belongs to the word of Satan (Sex, Drugs ,Gambling Etc)
We try as hard as possible to attach to the bible, and we have many bible studies to increase the knowledge of the bible according to Jesus said in John 17:3.

The best advice I can give you is to go to the Jehovahs Witnesses official website. Many who answer on this forum are ex Jehovah's Witnesses, for some reason or other. They are biased and will not give you honest answers. If you need to know more on a personal one to one basis, please email me and I can answer any question.

we are christians, a christian is simply one who follows Chirst's teachings. We do not believe in the Trinity, and it can be proven through the Bible. We preach door to door because we are following the will of God and the direction of Jesus (Matthew 28: 19, 20). we preach mostly about the kingdom soon to come, but everything we teach is purely from God and the Bible. We welcome you to visit a local Kingdom Hall

Ask a JW when they come to your house one day. That way you'll get the facts instead of getting them from people on here who either aren't a JW or USED to be one and aren't anymore and my twist things.

Dont be mislead.Read your bible ,pray and God will lead you to a church where you can be nourished in the truth.Jehovas do not believe in the trinity of the Father ,The son and the Holy ghost as being One,which should lead you to find another place of worship.
