Being a golfer, I would have to stick with the men who helped make golf in America what it is. Arnold Palmer whose " Go for Broke " charisma brought the average man to the forefront, Jack Nicklaus whose proficiency and determination broke the existing one for wins in major tournaments, and Byron Nelson, the true gentleman of golf who retired from the profession because he had achieved his goals. Tiger's accomplishments have yet to be determined for presently he is the greatest.

Six times (British) Open Champion Harry Vardon, And two other great swingers of a golf club, Bobby Jones and who else but Sam Snead. Watching their rhythm on the way round the golf course must mean that a little would rub off!
