They will fire you. You just need to word it differently. Say that you are aware that the manager seems not to have confident in your work. Is there anything that you can possibly do to change that?

I doubt it would go over very well because, well, you'd be acting like a baby! Okay, that said, I do want to give you a real answer. First, let's distinguish between events that take place, and your interpretation of those events. When you say you're being treated like a five year old baby, that's an interpretation. What is actually going on? You need to be able to put into words the behaviors of the other party in such a way that they'll recognize the truth of what you say. For example, if your manager tells you something you need to do, and then tells you the same thing again and again. You might label that as being treated like a baby, but it would be much better if you could describe it factually, and from your point of view. Here's the formula: when you do X, it makes me feel like Y. In practice: when you tell me what to do, and then tell me again and again, it makes me feel like you don't trust me to get the job done.
So with that formula in mind, you already know that YOU feel like you are being treated like a baby. So what's the other half of the sentence, what is your manager doing to invoke those feelings? Careful how you answer this, it has to be behaviorally based, meaning actions or words. Stay away from guessing other people's motivations and internal states.

Hard to tell - the manager might just ask you what you mean, or you might get fired. Depends on the manager. But that would be pretty rude of you. You could instead point out some specifics and tell him it bothers you when things like these happen.

Just go along with his micro managing until you either find another job or get another manager.
