Recently put on Cymbalta 60mg by my pysch for alcoholism. I take @ 7am and am zooming all day long. My pupils are huge and I drink like gallons of water. I also have zero appetite. Has anyone else noticed these side effects?

Sounds like you need to have both of these medications reduced. I've been on Cymbala for year (30mg) it makes me hyper--but, nowhere near what you are describing.

Call your doctor, or schedule an appointment to see him.
He may have to try something different that doesn't cause this much hyperactivity

Try www.rxlist.com.

Geodon and Cymbalta have dry mouth as a side effect, which can cause you to drink a lot of water. Cymbalta can cause you to have a reduced appetite while Geodon can result in weight gain.

Cymbalta is in a category of medicinal drugs referred to as selective SNRIs (selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor). With a couple of exceptions there are 3 categories of antidepressants (SSRIs, MAOs and the tricyclics). The SSRIs are the most recent and feature the least part results. Cymbalta works on each serotonin and norepinephrine (neurotransmitters) so it sort of feels most likely that it could have the equal sexual part results as the opposite SSRIs. I had been on Cymbalta, Effexor and each SSRI. Everyone one in every of them brought on sexual part results. They made it tough to think some thing, tough to have an orgasm if in any respect, and if I used to be in a position to have one, it wasn't as extreme as with out the cure. You will have to your health care provider approximately those part results. Different medicinal drugs have exceptional part results on exceptional humans. And I understand girl who've used Viagra to conquer the part results of antidepressants..
