What is a "Catholic gang"? I'm picturing guys fighting each other with rosaries instead of chains...

Gang activity and (offensive) gun violence is against Catholic Christianity. Although self defense is allowed.

I think you a referring to the oppressed irish. catholics are not gangsters, but we are not punks either. protestant england deserves what ever our heroic irish brethren has done to them.
