It means about as much as Y2K did back in the day! It is a load of hokey! Do you not see the similarities between Y2K and this 2012 nonsense? Why are people so gullible and fooled by things like this?

who knows, Mayans were the most advanced race in Astrology, and according to the Bible (genesis 4) the celestial bodies are signals to future events.
The ONLY documents that exist about Mayans are those in where they predict all those events, who know what they had in the rest of documents that the catholic church burn during "la conquista" (spaniard conquest).
I don't believe it, but it is NOT "NONSENSE" as you said.

Yes I am. For one thing, they are completely misled regarding what is supposed to take place in 2012. There are no prophesies regarding the end of the world. The Mayan's Long Count Calendar simply ends, and a new cycle will begin. The only prediction regarding events of 2012 is a cosmic alignment of the solar system (this is still being contended, as an alignment of this sort cannot be pinpointed to any certain year) and the galaxy and the return of the "star people" as they called them.

Y2k was written by technology, 2012 was written in the stars,
not to mention by people who were symbolic in thier accuracy of events occuring.
What do you think things are going to improve in this universe during this age. I know so not.
More than just the weather patterns are already collapsing.

I agree my brother says that he'l buy me and my brothers 200 bucks worth presents on christmas in 2012 if the world doesnt end. I can't wait. But I agree this 2012 stuff is like "Just shut up you queeers"
