They switch on the fuel pump and ignition, then push a starter button.
If the engine stalls when hot it is sometimes necessary to push the starter to get it cranking before the ignition is switched on.

Put car in Nuetral or push in Clutch--Fip up or on the Feul Pump and Ignition Switches--Push starter button or flip up starter switch until engine starts--then flip starter switch down or let off starter button!!!!

well a NASCAR is an acronym so they can't start that lol
but the car they start by flipping switches.
