Well, since you asked... I only share when I feel there is an opening. I share because I care. There are so many reasons for a person to state their beliefs. Are you not here stating your beliefs unasked. I don't recall anyone asking you to share your beliefs on the outspokeness of the devoutly religious.

Then are you saying that your question is stupid, because you are sharing your opinion about Christians, and nobody asked for it. When you are in a Christian and Spirituality section, then people are going to express their beliefs and opinions. I just wish they do it in a respectful way. Don't you think that it is disrespectful to call our answers to asked questions, stupid? If you don't want a Christian to answer your questions, then you are in the wrong place.

yes, fundies are rude and disrespectful of other peoples beliefs because they've likely been brainwashed since early childhood or by love bombing from the church they belong to, making 'em believe in common rules for everyone, giving up their own free will and terrorizing those who don't share in the same belief.

If we didn't share our beliefs then there will be people who haven't heard the Good News.
Jesus said to go out a preach not to ask if we can preach.

People like to share their happiness. I'm sure when you go on and on about something you're into, it drives others up the wall too. Maybe no one should share their interests with anyone else since it might offend them. Just say "No Thanks" next time it happens and walk away.

They are obeying the Great Commission - Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost".
At least they aren't being hypocrites; they are doing what their faith instructs them to do. I may not agree with them but I respect that they are true to their faith. Besides you can usually say thanks but keep it to yourself and they do.

hmmm, I have witnessed this often; yet when it comes to my own religious practices, I have held back and said nothing out of respect for their beliefs and so as not to cause a rift or make others angry...yet, you are right, they bring it up to me often without fear or consideration.....perhaps it is because so many people assume that others feel the same way they do or that people will be interested in whatever they have to say.

Lecrae met a man in New Orleans and was trying to share the Word with him and this man spit in his face. A year later when he came back, he met another man who had witnessed the event and realized his sins and repented. That's why.

I don't have a problem with them attempting to share.
I have a problem with them disrespecting me when I say I'm not interested.
