I do not believe in religion, but I respect that people have the choice in regards to follow a certain religion or not. I have respect for individual practitioners when they have respect for me.

For me there is a difference... "Do you respect other religions?" and do I respect others' right to, or having a different religion... which I much do. Only, I firmly believe that organized religion is for those who believe that when they die they might go to hell. Spirituality is for those who have already been to hell.

As a Christian, I follow Jesus Christ, does Jesus respect other religions? How can He? He's going to have respect to a system which denies His word? The 1st commandment says "You shall have no other Gods beside me". Jesus says "IAM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.

The true Christian sees all false religions for what they are, inventions formed by the Father of lies (Satan) to dishonor The LIVING GOD and to deceive and destroy souls. True Christians desire to "win" those souls to Christ, and in the love that God has shed abroad in their hearts, to convert them.As for the religion that blinds and ruins them, we have no respect, we hate those abominations with "perfect hatred"

Jesus has come to destroy the works of the Devil, every false way belongs to the Devil

I llok at it exactly like this quote...

We must respect the other fellow's religion, but only in the sense and to the extent that we respect his theory that his wife is beautiful and his children smart.

I'm an Atheist and I respect the right of everyone to believe and practice whatever religion they want....or not to practice any religion.

That right is protected by our Constitution.

Most religions are same! they have belief that is Strong what they believe in is. so that's good some of the Doctrines are too strong and interpretations may be wrong? but that's how they feel! we can't all have same beliefs or we be slaves to it! as long as you have belief that your GOD is fair that's good enough for me...any god that says "that says take lives randomly has to have another motive?" Live is so precious that we should value all!!!
