I've smoked within 30 days before a hair drug test before and passed. I want to be calm, but don't know how it will turn out? Can anyone relate?

If you are on your probation period, yes ... you are doomed. Have you read your employee handbook? If you were hired as a direct employee and have been an exceptional employee, go the your HR rep and tell them you have a problem and would like to seek treatment. Most will help you but if they do allow you to return to work, expect frequent testing and don't do it again. Jobs are too precious nowadays to lose it over extra curricular drugs. Otherwise, you made a unwise decision and will pay for it. Don't dwell ... Move on. Good luck!

If you only smoked once the concentration needed to be detected won't be there. It could show up a few days after if it were a urine test but the levels would quickly drop after those few days. It won't even show on a ''hair'' test.

The urine test is 2-4 weeks, but the hair is 6 months.

um...ya i agree your kinda doomed. it goes to up to 7 months back. But may i ask...WHY are you going to have a drug test? Choice or did you break the law?

Don't show up. Tell em you had a car wreck on the way and need to reschedule in two weeks. By the way drinking plenty of fluids will NOT clean your hair follicles.

you've got the right outlook on it. My advice would to be- drink water drink water drink water drink water drink water drink water jog jog jog jog sprint sprint sprint sprint sweat a lot man, the more you sweat and the more water you drink will give you a more confident feeling on the test and less likely the line will appear if you power cleanse your system. hope this helps.

Tell the someone gave you some hash cakes at a party, so you know that they will find traces and admit it before it becomes a issue.

Yup you are...Hair tells from at least 6 months back, even more depending on the person
