if you think 4 years is significantly older, than you must be pretty young. If you are 16, then a 20 year old is too old for you. If you are 25, then a 29 year old is OK. You can't stop your heart from loving someone, regardless of age. Why is it OK for an older man to date a young woman, but people have such issues when the woman is older?

i dont think that that would be to bad as long as the person that ur into isnt like really old.

for instance....19 dating a 23- ok
19 dating a 30- i wouldnt do it.
any older...i would say that u r crazy.

I'd say after you're 20+ years, it shouldn't matter who is older. I think 9+ years difference is getting too different in age, though.

I'm 34 and dating a 20 year old. We are both completely in love. Age doesn't matter if you love someone.

In the long term, it probably matters if the difference is large( say 10 years)
My BF is 5years younger ( I should say OUR, I share him with my girlfriend) and he has no complaints....
