No! Never use olive oil when baking sweets. Olive oil has a taste all it's own.

i've made brownies with olive oil and applesauce instead of vegetable oil and sugar, and they tasted just great. there is so little oil in brownies that using olive oil really doesn't make a difference, taste wise.

Olive oil is too thick for a brownie recipe. Use cannola or veg. oil. Or forgo the oil and replace with applesauce.

Yes, you can use vegetable oil. Do not use olive oil; it has a distinctive "olive" taste. Even if you use "light" olive oil, it has a lower burn point when cooking.

use vegetable oil because it tastes better
whenever you bake i recommend you use vegetable oil
