Well....yeah-Can they? I know that there are certain things that they won't take you for. Is that one of them? (Either way-do you have a link that says why?) Thanks!

I see no reason why you would be barred from serving because of that. especially if your male. The military usually looks for reasons to get you in and not out, they need to meet their mission of recruits.

In alopecia there is also a loss of sweat glands because of the lack of hair follicles. That is certainly the case in alopecia totalis. So, if your alopecia does lead to bouts of heat pyrexia, it is disqualifying.

It depends on how bad it is, also most of the older higher ranking Soldiers have it to some degree. Also some of the Military task will make people get it.

its only Baldness and there are treatment with meds.

As long as you are not on meds for it and it doesnt disable you in any way, you should be able to at last to get a waiver for it.
