Need to know the artist of a painting?

Question

I need to know the artist of this painting that was given to me. All I know is that it was purchased somewhere in Europe probably 20 or so years ago. I have attached two links to pictures of the painting and the signature any and all help is greatly appreciated.

It looks like a 19th century production piece. You could take it to a art auction house to prove me wrong but I doubt it was somebody famous.
