This is what I think will happen, told in the time-honoured Ali doggerel style...

This is what I think...

"Iron Mike punches hard,
receive too many, end up in the grave yard.
So far, he's destroyed every fighter around.
Who can beat him? Where is he found?
Tyson stands in the middle of the ring,
about his greatness he shouts and sings,
Then from the dark comes, 'He will never beat me!'
Who? Yes! it's Muhammad Ali!
Ali jumps into the ring, with a thunderous roar,
saying: 'This is going to be a fight like never before!'
Tyson is too ugly to be king,
I'll kick his butt across this ring!'
The bell for round one sounds,
look at Ali dance around.
Pop...pop...pop, jabs to Tyson's face,
but can Ali keep up this pace?
Ali jabs like a piston,
and not one is a-missin'.
Ali jabs p-p-p-p-p, is all you hear,
in Tyson's eyes the look is fear!
Rounds three to seven, much of the same.
Ali is at the top of his game.
Then a Tyson right hook catches Ali flush,
and over the crowd comes a hush.
Ali staggers, is this the end?
If Tyson lands another, he will win!
Tyson can't hit Ali on the ropes,
'Cos Ali's suckered him with rope-a-dope!
At the start of round number nine,
Ali yells: 'Your behind is mine!'
Ali bounces off the ropes with a double-clutch shuffle,
a five punch combo, Tyson's knees buckle.
Ali punches so fast, Tyson head spins round,
Left Jab, Right Cross, Bolo Punch...TYSON IS DOWN!
Tyson laying on the ground,
Mills Lane steps in, and makes the 10 count.
ALI...ALI rings from the crowd,
Muhammad Ali, still the greatest around!"
(ALI BY 9 ROUND KO)

Why Ali by KO? Do you guys even know what either fought like? Ali would be on his bike in this fight and if he won it would be by a decision. Ali was most vulnerable to the left hook, and got floored and hurt by much lesser fighters than Tyson. Tyson(while not as accomplished) was more skilled than Frazier, who beat Ali's *** in their first encounter and caught him at will with the left hook. Hell, even Henry Cooper(who?) dropped and hurt Ali badly with a left hook.

On the flip side, someone like James Quick Tillis was able to be the first to last the decision and do reasonably well against Tyson by using an Ali-like style, so you could use that in Ali's favor.

What seperates the two is their mental strength, and how I think Ali may get into his head at some point over 15. Ali by Decision.

Ali in 9, or 13, Tyson was a fighter who could only last 3 to 6 rounds.

Ali was never knocked out cold in the ring. I have Ali winning by decision in 15. The other scenarios of Tyson quitting early or getting disqualified due to Ali frustrating him would also definitely apply.

I think maybe Ali would respect Tyson too much and settle for an easy decision, never knowing he could pick his spots and knock him. If he had to, he could make Tyson quit after 5 rounds.

I personally see Tyson as a bigger, faster, stronger version of Joe Frasier. And Joe gave Ali Hell! I think Tyson knocks him out in 2 rounds. Of course historically Tyson was a dum@s... But styles make fights, and he had the style to make Ali look silly.

In his prime I think Tyson takes in 6 or 7. Rope a Dope wouldn't have worked with that Tyson. He threw too many power punches that Ali wouldn't have handled for to long. If Ali did make it through the fight he would have had a broken jaw on both sides and a concussion.

Just my humble oppinion as a true Tyson fan.

young Tyson would win against older Ali. TKO in the late rounds.

when they were both young , id say Ali by decision.

like those other guys said Ali couldn't lay on the ropes against a prime Tyson. Tyson was very boxing smart , smarter then Joe Frasier and he hit harder.
