Depending on the style you are wanting and how many people you will have working on you at the same time is how long it should take. My suggestion is to give yourself at least 3 hours actually in the chair not to mention travel time to and from the salon. I would give yourself at least 1 hour to get dressed as you will need to be really careful not to mess up your hair and makeup. Good Luck and best wishes!

Our wedding is at 2pm. We have 5 women all together, including the Mothers, Bridesmaids & Me, who are getting our hair done. First appointment is at 8am. We're all going in a group and makeup and hair will be done 'Round-Robin' style. Nails are getting done the day before, so we'll all look spiffy at the rehearsal dinner. Luckily, my nail tech is a close friend, in case of emergency repairs.
I'd leave a 4 to 5 hour window between your first appointment and the start of the ceremony. That way you're giving yourself and your entourage plenty of time to get pretty, get dressed, head to the ceremony location and If you've got an hour to spare, kudos to you for having some time to breathe and take it all in without rushing! Good Luck and Congrats!

I would give yourself three hours. That way even if you do have time left over, you know there will be no way you will be late. Also it depends on how intricate you are doing your hair and makeup and if your dress is hard to get into or has a lot of buttons or whatever.

I have really short hair so it doesn't take more than 15 minutes to dry and style, all in all it took me about 1 hour to get ready for the wedding.

plan on the worse and think about 3 hours, plus; you want an additional hour AT the church (if you are doing everything at a different place) for touch-ups in case of wind, rain, etc.

Great question! For my wedding it took me close to three hours. Seeing as I was having a "simple" hairstyle I had thought two hours would be enough but it took longer. What saved me a lot of time though was that I had the hairdresser/makeup person come to my house instead of me driving out to them.

We started at 8 or 9 (can't remember) in the morning and the wedding started at 2 pm. So, give yourself more time than you think you need. It goes by quick!
