No: It only shows that the choir won't pay to get into church. ID has failed in the marketplace of ideas for three reasons: 1. The presentation. 2. The presenters. 3. Lack of actual evidence for the intelligence behind the design. If the presentation was not evangelistic, exclusive, and intolerant, they'd have more luck. If they didn't use specious logic and irrelevant appeals they'd have more luck. If the presenters weren't off-topic hacks with obvious agendas, using obviously-dishonest tactics, they'd have more luck. If they'd produce some actual measurable evidence they'd have more luck. Science and Religion are two distinct things - distinct tools and methods for distinct purposes. Neither works well at all when coerced into the purview of the other. You'd think this simple truth would be obvious by now.

ID is hardly intellectual. It's a pseudo-science that religious fanatics have concocted, thinking that intelligent and educated people will be stupid enough to believe it. The fanatics think they'll finally get their way by converting us and then removing the teaching of evolution from our schools, universities, careers, and belief systems. It's their way of trying to take over the entire system. What they don't understand is that we're a lot smarter than they are, and therefore are not going to believe that nonsense.

I should think the anti-"intellectually-robust-idea-of-ID" folks have seen the hidden agenda for the idea of ID and that they just don't want religion taught in schools. Moreover, I suspect that the anti-"intellectually-robust-idea-of-ID" people are also upset with what ID has been attempting to pass off as real science since what Creation-scientists have been "calling real science" isn't science at all but only poorly disguised Christian dogma, conjecture and blatant propaganda.

Because the minute you completely rule out the possibility of you having made a mistake (or there being alternative, reasonable opinions to your own) the whole rest of the world must be all part of a great conspiracy to try to make you stop and think. HOW DARE THEY!!!

Because "intelligent design" is fake science created by religious people that want to force their ideas on the long-accepted ideas of evolution.

'Intellectually robust'
That's a joke, right?
Intelligent Design is equally as garbage as Creationism, if not exactly the same thing in disguise.
Get real?
