The cause is possibly conversion disorder which you can research online. In my case, it went away when I addressed the psychological link (I know...bizarre, right?).
As for treatment, I was prescribed compazine which comes in tablets and suppositories. I could only use suppositories at one point because I couldn't swallow anything.

Stress. Ulcers. Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Acid Reflux. Indigestion. See a doctor!
Treatments that help. Keep a little food in your stomach...a piece of toast, some crackers, etc... Go to the drug store and get coke syrup or cola syrup....(this is not the same as a soda)...it is in the pharmacy section. Sip a couple of teaspoons of this over ice. It helps for nausea!!!

Well the best thing to do is understand why you are getting it. You could very likely have acid problems (GERD) that upset your stomach. Among many others. It would best to have your physician refer you to a internist.
As far as treatment, you could try a number of over the counter anti-nausea drugs, be careful some will make you drowsy. Anything with natural ginger can help alot as well.

not sure about causes but good ol' Mary J (marijuana)is proven for treatment. It's LEGAL in california..they will prescribe it to you

usually dr's start of with phenergan or compazine and if that doesn't help the newest is zofran which has a generic (ondenestron) you will need to talk to your dr to see which he thinks will treat your condition best

THE FIRST THING THAT COMES TO MIND IS PREGNANCY..... SORRY..... I USED TO GET NAUSEAOUS AND DIZZY ALOT DUE TO A VIRAL FORM OF VERTIGO. i TOOK BONINE, AN OVER THE COUNTERE ANTI NAUSEA CHEWABLES.... THEY DO WORK!!!
