I know what your saying. Sadly other creatures also care for their own as well. So that kinda negates your theological angle some..me thinks.

Loving people, caring for people and behaving in a socially acceptable way is nothing to do with any religion it is a normal human trait which was no doubt very useful in protecting and preserving the way of life of a tribe or group in the past. We are not the only species that have this Elephants will help an injured member of their troop. Vampire bats are know to regurgitate blood to feed hungry members of their group

Caring is a human emotion biologically. Created though. Funny though how you can care about things and people you don't have any real connection with physically. We are strange beings.
That was a good answer, I think I have it in the BAG. I think I was a good CARRIER of the information and have a really accurate HANDLE on the situation.
I wonder if anyone has pointed out your paper appendage before.

It may be a Mammalian trait, possibly more widespread on the ol' phylogenetic tree.
Several social mammals, such as wolves, show a capacity to care for others in their group in a very altruistic way.
Notably, wolves don't seem to give heaven much thought.

Caring is a human emotion and not that other animals also exhibit this behavior.
The human race has been around for quite awhile more than 10000 years.

Humans live in groups and give birth to helpless young who require years of care before they are capable of self-reliance.
If humans didn't normally come with the capacity to love their young, and to feel sympathy and empathy for their fellows, there wouldn't be humans for very long.

Caring is a behaviorial adaptation. Caring for one's children ensures that they grow up well adjusted and survive. When such behavior leads to successful procreation and survival, it will be repeated.

To be human is to be compassionate. Religion has absolutely nothing to do with it.
What makes you cry when you see an animal killed on TV?
Is it religion? Of course not.
It is compassion.

No I think that it is learned by example. Some people don't have the slightest notion of what caring and compassion means.
