Perhaps these distinguished and experienced archeologists might be able to offer a few suggestions. I haven't read anything about their opinions being asked for.

Lyin' of Judah, I doubt that many would go if invited. Richard Dawkins has stated that he will not debate creationists because it would give them undue attention and credibillity just by his showing up and create the impression that there is a serious debate between evolution and creationism - which there is not. It is not of fear of losing any debate to people who would never admit defeat anyhow. Many creationists take vows to swear that when evidence conflicts with scripture, that it is the interpretation of the evidence that MUST be wrong. They WILL NOT be disproved. Does that sound like people with an objective view that have any business talking about science? Does that sound like the kind of people that would know when their arguments are bullshit and they have been defeated? Trust me, if and when evolution is replaced by any future theories, it will not be by Creationism. Dream on, Christians, dream on.

Added note: I see 11 thumbs down for a creationist's comment. Never admitting defeat, the possibility of being wrong or considering that others may know something that they don't, they will be like feathers in a creationist's cap or jewels in a golden crown for defending the "truth of God". There are countless Bible verses that one can find to tell himself that he is right and is being persecuted by fools.

Archaeologists have long known of civilizations that predate the creation as mentioned in the bible. They would have a hard time accepting the credibility of any museum that offed Creationism as a legitimate explanation for the world. Besides, I have seen it, they have dinosaurs living with humans around the time of Noah, and that Noah included them when he built the Ark. If it weren't for the fact that someone were making it up years earlier, I'd say the folks managing the museum were all crazy

I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!

That "Creation Museum" is a JOKE. The promotion of pseudo-science in a "museum?" Get real!! And if invited there by its directors, it's doubtful that any reputable (and *actual*) scientist would go, lest they might give the impression of lending legitimacy to such idiocy. It would be like a french toast maker inviting Emeril to assess his work. A waste of the great chef's time... and a perfect analogy for THIS notion.

They don't do science. PERIOD.

The challenge was to get ONE Creationist to make a positive hypothesis about Creationism or Intelligent Design (as it's the same thing)... and then tell what tests he/she has done to FALSIFY the hypothesis. This is what SCIENCE does.. why can't they DO SO TOO???

I highly doubt that.. somehow I don't think the museum directors can take the constructive criticism they'd offer.

Because archaeologists go to museums with actual artifacts, not dioramas made to fit a biblical interpretation.

Thats usually because anytime someone brings up creationism all the leading secular "experts" pooh pooh it and close their minds even more. They just read a little bit about it come up with their own theory without looking at all the evidence because it doesnt fit their beliefs and agendas.

They probably don't want to embarrass the museum's directors by laughing in their faces.

That would defeat the purpose of the museum now, wouldn't it? Having actual scientists involved?

Would scientists go to any of the countless Santa's workshops to refute Santa?

Please!!!
