In excellent condition with a good barrel on it a 788 might net you up to $500. Being that it's a somewhat odd caliber could get it up to $600 if you can find someone interested in that rifle. They were far less than that new, and have been appreciating in value ever since.

it depends on the condition,there is a guy near where i live that handles alot of 788's in average condition your looking at about 500$ 6mm is a odd cal. and gets a higher price .i would consider 450 as a minimum
