I wonder the same thing, I scan through, mainly to find the questions that are directed to Christians, only to find other answers from non Christians who have been, to say the least, very rude, and cruel, I respect what others have to say, and know we all are not going to agree, but can we not be a little more respectful, and mature with one another?
Edit: I can see being curious, and wanting to read what the question may be about, but to comment in disrespectful ways to anyone of any religion is wrong.

This is an open forum and anyone has a right to answer any question. Trying to exclude particular groups - usually because the asker wants to receive an answer that will only confirm his or her existing beliefs, biases or prejudices - is contrary to the spirit of YA.
By posting a question that is ''Atheists only'' or ''Christians only'', the asker automatically waves a red rag that invites the excluded groups to answer; it's part of the wonderful perversity of human nature. Personally, I hope people do continue to intrude on these sorts of questions uninvited because YA isn't some kind of exclusive club for one group in particular, no matter how much they may hate it.

I have an open mind and will listen to anyone's answer Pagan, Christian, Jew, Atheist, as long as it is logical and well thought out.. But I dislike skeptics and know it alls. I believe we are all right if we believe thoroughly in our Faith. Remember- Faith- don't leave home without it.

I think that whether it says Christians or not, everyone should have the right to answer. Its not a religious club here. I am a Christian and when my questions are asked about certain things in the bible, I put "Christians: ...." but I'll accept other religious people's answers too. I apprecate any.

everyone thinks they're right. I personally (see?) think that most christian's detach themselves from the world. so i really don't value their opinions. but i see what you mean... why address only a certain group of people?!... i suppose you could have a question specifically about something in that person's religious lifesyle or following but that's usually not the case. I once heard something about religion... that people fuss over their differences in faith all the time... kill over it. they fail to see that they do have similarities, they share the fact that they have faith at all.

Because sometimes I have studied up on that religion. I may think I know the answer. Or I may have come across the information someplace like work. I work w/ other faiths and they do alot of talking while we work.

Cause everyone is Human and every one has an opinion on the subject...
Its like eating a piece of pie or (Pizza if you prefer) anyway
You look at the round pie you take the slice you know is good and you leave the rest alone.....
same as an answer...you take what fullfills you and leave the rest..........thats what most people are doing anway........only accepting what they want whether its good for them or not....only what satisfies ones self...........
world is full of people with opinions only satisfing themselves with it !!!!!

Because we don't really care who the question is addressed to, we have as much right to post our opinion as the person does the question is addressed to.

They might be curious or they may be trying to convince you that their beliefs are more accurate. I'm a Christian and I know what I believe is the truth.

Sometimes I think it's because the people you want to answer don't, or so few of them do; and the other reason is probably because it is hard to resist, especially if it is a question you have been waiting for someone to ask.
