Why try to avoid nature? Changing climate is no different than a sunny or rainy day.
Enjoy each day for what it is and enjoy the warm weather like you would a sunny day.

No we cannot. We can only control the human contribution to the dituation. Ice ages and global warming are cyclical. We should do whatever we can to eliminate or minimize pollution, but we cannot stop the cycles of nature. Some of this comes from the egocentric view that the earth exists for mankind. The truth is that mankind is a parasite upon the earth and is as inconsequential in the greater scheme of things as one grain of sand in an ocean of water.

We can't totally avoid global warming. But we can reduce it enough to cope with the remaining effects. And, one day, eliminate our contribution. That must be our goal, because...
"We humans have built a remarkable socioeconomic system during perhaps the only time when it could be built, when climate was sufficiently stable to allow us to develop the agricultural infrastructure required to maintain an advanced society."
"If the Earth came with an operating manual, the chapter on climate might begin with a caveat that the system has been adjusted at the factory for optimum comfort, so don't touch the dials."

Sun glasses for the Earth ?
We could find ways to screening part of the solar radiation from reaching the Earth by reflecting part of it back into space.
How ?
Place some light screening material (cloud of reflecting particles or Mylar sheets) in a geostationary orbit, turning in such a way (just the opposite way as the geostationary satellites turn) to remain always in front of the Sun as the Earth turns.
That would decrease the amount of sun energy reaching the tropical regions, thus cooling the general temperature of the planet.
Not impossible to achieve.
We did that in our planet. (Just a joke!)

The greenhouse effct is not our problem the planet has gone thougth ice ages before and it will happen again
as it has gone through global warming before and it will happen again
your concern should be carrying capacity-- the number of individuals of any one species the enviroment can support
we have hit carrying capacity in places like ethiopia and it is getting there in china

I've about figured out what with the graphs and charts and all that, manmade global warming is gonna happen as fast as plain old global warming, so no. nor can you avoid any ice ages either mini or maxi.

All we can do is try to reduce our impact on the environment as much as we can and wait and see if we've actually changed anything or if it's just the cycle of weather on this planet.
