We have various people helping us with our wedding, like with music, reading, ushering, etc. It's in December, and I was thinking about giving them a little "goody basket" with bought and baked treats and candies. Is this too dull or insufficient for their help? What do you think? Any other ideas if you don't like this one? We're trying to be budget-conscientious but not cheap.

Perfect! As people have pointed out just make sure there is a variety (something chocolate, something not, with nuts, without, something not super sweet.....) and nothing in the bags they would be allergic to. Even if a person doesn't like one or two of your treat choices I'm sure someone else would eat them.

Perhaps even slip in a little gift certificate for gas, Amex that can be used anywhere.....anything universal.

Sure it's not a super expensive gift but since many brides don't even bother with gifts for "minor helpers" the gesture should be appreciated.

I don't like the typical photo frames, engraved this and that, etc. I think the baskets are a great idea. Be sure to make 'em yummy and pretty!

I think this a a great idea. I'm doing something simular. You could also give them a gift card to their favorite store, that way you'll know for sure they're getting something they like.

I think it would be wonderful, if you have time try to tailor it to the individual people (for example I HATE nuts lol, so all the goodies with nuts would likely go to waste) but either way, I think it would be great.
