I started looking at some toys that I bought my kids months ago and had hid away for Christmas and realized some were made in China. I need to find out if they were on the recall list. I went to the Hasbro website and can't really find out anything on them. Is there another site I can go to and do a search for these items?

I think with all the hype about toy recalls You should be aware that many toys weren't recalled for excessive lead content but choking hazzards from small parts which was a DESIGN issue not the manufacturers fault. The manufacturer follows the design he is given,.Quite often parents give age inappropriate toys to their children , and do not heed the manufacutrers warnings. We must use common sense when these recalls are made.Read labels, read what the suggested age for the toy is( most toys are clearly labeled when it presents a choking hazzard to children under age 3).Do we stop our children from wearing clothing with buttons or snaps which also come lose? Have you seen little girls party dresses with flowers attached with small safety pins and with streamer length ribbons to make into a bow? Look at the laces in kids shoes that drag behind the wearer even when double knotted ( the length of a skate lace in a shoe and it is the original lace).I know these are not toys but these products are manufactured in Canada and the USA.
